Forum Taps Industry Leader Harry Alcock as Head of Investments to Lead Firm’s Strategic Growth and Investment Initiatives

Forum Investment Group is excited to announce the appointment of Harry Alcock as Managing Partner – Head of Investments, a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the firm’s real estate acquisition, development, and asset management strategy. In this role, Harry will lead the real estate organization, design investment strategies, and oversee disciplined capital deployment.

As a member of Forum’s Executive Leadership Team and Real Estate Investment Committee, Harry will lead the expansion of the firm’s strategies to target high-growth sectors and emerging opportunities, strengthening its ability to navigate market dislocations, pursue strategic acquisitions, and manage risk for consistent performance.

“Harry’s leadership comes at a pivotal time as we navigate shifting market conditions and position Forum to capitalize on new investment opportunities,” said Darren Fisk, Founder & CEO of Forum. “We’re thrilled to bring on someone with Harry’s experience and pedigree—we believe his deep experience in portfolio strategy and capital deployment will help us execute our growth plans and deliver strong, long-term value to our investors.”

Harry brings more than 35 years of executive leadership in real estate investment and portfolio management, with a career spanning over $40 billion in real estate transactions and oversight of more than $1 billion in credit deployment. Prior to joining Forum, he served for 14 years as Chief Investment Officer at UDR, Inc., an S&P 500 multifamily REIT with an enterprise value of more than $20 billion, where he led capital allocation strategies across a national portfolio of over 60,000 apartment homes.

Earlier in his career, Harry spent over 15 years at AIMCO, where he played a central role in transforming the company from a $300 million portfolio into the nation’s largest multifamily owner and manager, with more than $15 billion in real estate assets. He was named Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer in 1999.

A recognized leader in the real estate community, Harry serves on the Executive Committee of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) and is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Multifamily Green Council.

“I am excited to join Forum at this transformative moment for the real estate industry,” said Harry Alcock. “I look forward to working closely with the team to develop and execute investment strategies that capitalize on today’s market opportunities and position Forum for sustained growth in the years ahead.”
